Dear Member of the Class of 1959,

I am writing to all the members of St. Francis Prep’s Class of 1959 in the hope that this 60th Anniversary celebration of your graduation on April 6th is a memorable one indeed. Each member of the Class of 1959 is invited as our guest in honor of your 60th Anniversary. Your own Golden Terrier ticket is Free. Additional tickets are $60 per person if reserved in advance and $70 if you pay at the door.

Your reunion celebration will begin in the auditorium at 5:30 P.M. with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Immediately following liturgy, Thomas Prendergast ’59, Robert A. Waegelein ’78, Karen M. Haag ’80 and Martin G. Shannon ’80 will be inducted into the St. Francis Prep Alumni Hall of Fame. The Alumni Spring Reunion and Hall of Fame induction at the Prep will be highlighted by the presentation of Golden Terrier Society Medals to all members of your Class of 1959. The evening continues with dinner and your Class Reunion at 7:30 P.M. in the library.

To register, please call Kim Perinuzzi at 718-423-8810 ext. 268.

Here’s another thought: Please help the Prep by giving whatever you can to foster the school’s mission to provide an outstanding, Catholic education in the Franciscan tradition for students from all walks of life. With this in mind, I am hoping that the members of the Class of 1959 will make a special 60th Anniversary gift to establish the ’59 Fund at St. Francis Prep. This fund will be used to help needy students in the future.

So would you consider making a gift of $5, $10, or even $20 for each of the 60 years since your graduation? This would make a wonderful tribute and would also set a positive example for other 60th Anniversary classes in the future.  Enclosed is a return envelope. Whatever you can give will be appreciated and will be included as part of your 60th Anniversary class gift. Thank you very much for your consideration.

What happens if you cannot attend?  By request, I will gladly send a medal to any member of the class who cannot attend on April 6th. However, you must request one by phone, email or letter --whichever is most convenient for you. Medals will be sent after the Reunion celebration.

Please fill out the enclosed form and return it by Monday, March 25, 2019.

I look forward to being with all of you on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
