SFP Science Department Chairperson Mary Ann Spicijaric '84 announced today that three SFP students will be participating finalists in the New York City Science and Engineering Fair (NYCSEF) on Tuesday, March 27th at The American Museum of Natural History. Approximately 500 high school students from throughout the five boroughs will be presenting their research and competing for a variety of prizes, including a chance to represent NYC at the International Science and Engineering Fair in May.

Seniors Sandra Ambro '12 and Prasune Cheekapara '12 along with Yuvraj Verma '14, are part of the ever-growing list of finalists from St. Francis Prep's very selective and rigorous Science Research Program

NYCSEF is the city’s largest research competition for high school students and is organized by The City University of New York (CUNY) in collaboration with the New York City Department of Education.
