We are saddened to report that Denise Donovan-Corrigan '80 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 22nd. She resided in Charlotte, NC and leaves behind a husband and three children. Please keep Denise and her family in your prayers.
After graduating from St. Francis Prep, Denise earned a Bachelors in Quantitative Analysis at St. John's University and then her MBA (Computer Information Systems) at Baruch College. She worked at several large financial institutions as a training & development professional for more than a decade. Denise was also a dedicated community volunteer. She took a planned leave of absence to focus on family needs, elder-care and volunteerism. As a volunteer, she served her community in a variety of ways: managing a community-based arts education program for adults and children; tutoring K-5 students to strengthen their early reading skills; facilitating fundraising activities for the Boy Scouts of America, and promoting fundraising activities at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
