Back in May, Tristen Buettel, a junior at Prep, was scheduled to sing the National Anthem at Citifield.  There was an article about it in the Daily News, and she was all geared up for that night's game!  Unfortunately, it got rained out---even though it barely rained that night!

The game was rescheduled for July 18th, and the weather forecast warned about the possibility  of hail!  We kept our fingers crossed and the weather held out!   Kristen's performance was excellent!

Click here to view her singing the National Anthem at Citifield!  (She also just sang the Anthem at Red Bulls Arena for the Red Bulls soccer game!)

Coincidentally, another SFP alumna and member of the SFP board of trustees, Joanne Persico '78, also sang the National Anthem at Citifield prior to a St. John's University baseball game that was held prior to the "official" opening of the new ballpark.

Congratulations to Tristen on a job well done!
