Thursday, January 19, 2006
Are you a non-profit professional? Are you responsible for the fundraising development efforts of your organization? Are you ready to take your career to the next level? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then Saint Mary's University has a program for you.
Saint Mary's offers a Masters Degree Program in Philanthropy and Development at their campus in Winona, Minnesota. The program requires a three-year commitment to attend three summer sessions, each of which lasts for three weeks. During that time you will be fully immersed in an adult learning environment with top leaders in the Development field as your professors. Your classmates could be Board Members, Executive Directors, Development Directors and Grant Writers for non-profit organizations from across the United States.
There is a scholarship available for applicants who have graduated from a New York City High School, The F. Walter and MaryAnn Riebenack Scholarship. (Walter is a graduate of St. Francis Prep, Class of 1957.) For additional information about the Masters Degree Program and The Riebenack Scholarship, please visit St. Mary's at www.smumn.edu or contact Reine Shiffman, Program Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you have any other questions about the program, please feel free to contact Ms. Kristina Veljak, St. Francis Prep Class of 1990 and a member of the SFP Alumni Board, at email@example.com.
She will be receiving her Masters Degree in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary's this coming May, and she would be happy to share her experiences with you.
