The spirit of St. Francis was once again in full view this past Saturday, December 13th. The school cafeteria was alive as St. Francis Prep hosted its annual Christmas party for adults with special needs.
Student volunteers and SFP alumni were on hand to welcome nearly 200 guests and celebrate the season of Christmas. Gifts were provided by many generous individuals and companies. Volunteers presented these gifts to each attendee and the party continued with the singing of Christmas carols and dancing.
This tradition began in the mid '70s under the leadership of Sr. Joseph Agnes and its success has continued because of the dedication of so many members of the Prep community. The Prep wishes to thank everyone who has helped keep this fine tradition alive, especially Suzanne Camus, Elaine Carroll, and volunteers from the Alumni Board and Parent Guilds.
