The St. Francis Prep Arizona/Western States Area Alumni Association has organized an “all years-all alumni and guests are welcome” mother of all reunions on March 20, 21, and 22, 2015 in Tempe and Phoenix Arizona.
The theme is Rally in the Valley. We held pep rallies in the alley on the N. 5th St. side of the “Prep” and we will continue the tradition with our Rally headquarters hotel the Mission Palms on north side of Mill Ave. on 5th St. in Tempe Arizona.
This year also marks the 55th anniversary year of the class of 1960.We will toast, cheer, recognize and congratulate this well represented group. In its honor a Sister Mary Ruler and Brother Drumstick McGee Fibbers Contest will be held after mass. (2013 winner- “The fish I caught was so big the picture weighed 8lbs.”)
Plans include a Friday night gathering at the Watershed Restaurant at the Lakes in Tempe and a Saturday evening happy hour and dinner at Rawhide. On Sunday we will celebrate mass at the Franciscan Casa and have a party at La Famiglia Restaurant for a taste of old Brooklyn. All gatherings are individual tab events.
The daylight hours will be reserved for spring MLB baseball, sightseeing, dinning, shopping, sipping suds and wine poolside while telling lies or just hanging out and catching up with old friends and meeting alumni from various years and era’s.
RSVP ASAP. See attached hotel suggestions. Make reservations now.

Rally in the Valley 2015
You are cordially invited to the Phoenix area St. Francis Prep reunion March 20-23, 2015. The Rally in the Valley is open to all “Prepsters” worldwide and their guests. The class of ’60 will also be celebrating its 55th Anniversary celebration.
Reunion planners encourage “Prepsters” to extend the weekend into a vacation and see the sights of Arizona, or to just hang out with local alumni. Cactus League MLB will be in full swing so we encourage you to reserve your hotel rooms early.
Our headquarters hotel will be the Tempe Mission Palms. There are many hotels close by and we included a list below for your convenience. We will have “gatherings” on Friday and Saturday evenings and several options for baseball at six stadiums that range from a ten-minute shuttle ride to a thirty minute drive.
Since Phoenix will be at the height of its tourist season, prices will be higher and vacancy rates lower. You can always make the reservation now and if “do-do” happens you can cancel later. There are no costs added for admission to our parties (separate checks) and we give you a money back guarantee on those admissions if you don’t have a great time.
Please drop Bob Caccamo ‘59 a line at email@example.com or call 480.812.0685 to let him and the committee know that you (and your guest) will be attending.
