Dear Friends,

The St. Francis Prep Alumni Board will be hosting the 20th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Cherry Valley Club in Garden City, N.Y.  Once again, it is with great pleasure that we cordially invite all of our alumni, parents, and friends to this year’s event where we will honor two very special individuals:
Michael F. Mongelli '79 and Rev. William Sweeney H'03.

The Cherry Valley Course is extremely well-maintained and will be open only to St. Francis Prep throughout the day.  As always, a full barbeque-style luncheon will precede the 1:00 pm tee-off.

After playing one of Long Island’s premier courses, all golfers and guests will enjoy an outstanding cocktail hour complete with ice carvings and shrimp bar.  Following the cocktail hour, a wonderful full-buffet dinner, golf awards ceremony and special tributes to our two honorees will round out the evening.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-reserved basis, so please register early as we anticipate an overflow crowd.  Since the net proceeds benefit the school, sponsorships from those participating and from those who may be unable to play or attend the dinner are crucial for our success.  If you have any questions, please call the Office of Development at (718) 423-8810, ext. 268 or 269.

Thank you again for your support!

Sincerely,

Wally Bishop '80, John Pereira ‘62, Gerry Scales ‘76, and the SFP Alumni and Development Team
